Crossing the Threshold:

A Wintering Wild Woman Rite of Passage

La Loba is the thread through the entire journey.

She enters the wilderness

She gathers the bones

She brings them to the fire

She sings over them

Life returns

The Wild Woman within awakens

This is not simply another women’s wellness retreat.

It is a crossing.

The days are getting darker, sister, hibernation is calling.

To seal the season of fall, it is time to answer the Wild Woman’s call.

Maybe you’ve already felt her pull - in your voice, dance, and dreams.

Or maybe her song is new to you - so it seems.

The Wild Woman teaches us how to free ourselves from restrictions to anchor in our truth.

Crossing The Threshold

The wild woman remembers what you have forgotten

It is time to

Enter the dark

Gather your bones

Find your song

A stepping away from the familiar

Into the wilderness

Into the dark

Into the places beneath the roles we have learned to carry

We gather what has been scattered

We bring it to the fire

We give it voice

And we return carrying our medicine

Friday ⟡ I Leave behind

I cross the threshold.

Saturday ⟡ I Descend

I enter the dark.

Saturday Afternoon ⟡ I Gather

I gather my bones from the land.

Saturday Night ⟡ I Reanimate

I sing over what was scattered. Life returns.

Sunday ⟡ I Return.

I carry my medicine home.

“Take the leap. You’ll be held, seen, and heard the entire way through. You’ll meet parts of yourself that are ready to be welcomed. And somewhere along the way, you’ll realize you can be that support for yourself too. It’s the embodiment of what you’ve been seeking.”

— lisa, crossing the threshold retreat

What to Expect

We blend guided moments, deep exploration, and space to reflect, so the experience feels both focused and fluid.

❋ Intentional Structure

Connection is a core part of the process. We honor each woman’s unique medicine and encourage participation. You’ll learn just as much from the group as from the experience itself.

❋ Collaborative Energy

Led by experienced guides who not only know how to hold space but have walked through our own thresholds as well. This means meeting you where you are at and cultivating a container that leads to lasting transformation isn’t just a playbook, but a lived experience that leaves you transformed.

❋ Transformative Facilitation
❋ A Supportive Space

Our retreat prioritizes comfort, safety, and respect, so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.

This is more than just a retreat…

It is a rite of passage

A stepping away from the familiar

To reclaim the medicine that lives within you

“You’re never too old or too far along in your life’s journey to invest in yourself and to embrace new ideas and patterns. Being able to rediscover yourself and what you are called to be at any stage of life can be so enlightening and powerful. This retreat could be just what your soul has been longing for, it was for me.”

Donna, Crossing the threshold retreat

Inspired by the mythic thread of La Loba:

the Wild Wolf Woman who enters the wilderness, gathers the bones, and sings life back into them

You will gather your bones from the land

Learn to see in the dark

“Do it for yourself! This experience was so nourishing and wholesome. It was everything I’ve been missing and didn’t know I needed. I am so grateful that I did this for me. It feels like I have opened a new chapter of self care that is able to coexist in the chaos of life.”

— Liz, Crossing the Threshold Retreat

THIS CROSSING MAY BE FOR YOU IF…

You are standing at the edge of something.

A season has ended.

Something inside you has gone quiet.

You have spent years being strong, capable, needed, responsible.

You feel the pull toward something deeper but you aren’t quite sure what it is yet.

You don’t need another space telling you how to become a better version of yourself.

You want somewhere you can listen.

Somewhere you can remember.

Somewhere you can be witnessed.

Somewhere wild enough to let something real emerge.

YOU WILL LEAVE WITH…

A deeper relationship with your own intuition.

A clearer sense of what you’re ready to release.

Something tangible gathered from the land.

A ritual object created with your hands.

A voice for something you’ve struggled to name.

A winter practice to carry home.

The collective Crossing the Threshold Recipe & Medicine Book.

And, hopefully, a remembering:

The life you thought was gone may simply have been waiting for you to sing.

A woman arrives → crosses → descends → gathers → sings → reanimates → returns
