Hey there, Divine Pine Community!

My name is Rachel and it’s wonderful to meet you. I am an artist of many facets and well, I don’t jive with labels or boxes, so multidimensional is how I describe what I do.

In this life you’ll find me creating beauty in the physical realm, like this altar space, singing songs I’ve caught on the wind, holding space for my community, realigning energy bodies in the astral, and dancing with the force of my entire Spirit.

This Ancestor Altar is special to me, as I’ve been diving deep into my ancestral healing over the last few years. Part of this process is re-remembering where I’ve come from, the power of saying my ancestors’ names, and activating my connection to my lineage that feels almost forgotten in current times. The other aspect is healing the shadow of my ancestry, the passed down pain, turning these burdens into wisdom. It’s a dance I’ve found between honoring both the inherited ancestral trauma and ancestral gifts. I invite you to explore this polarity here at the Altar.

Another part of this process for me has been deciding what kind of ancestor I want to be. As we come to this pivotal time on Earth, I ask myself what do I want to leave for my own lineage? More suffering? Or more love? We often forget our power to course correct not only our own life, but that of our lineage. Indigenous teachings remind us that what we do today will be felt seven generations forward. So I ask you, my future ancestors, what are you leaving for the generations to come?
